Getting to Belek hotels: planning transfers on a golf holiday

Reaching hotels in Belek and Kadriye from the airport. Practical notes on carrying golf equipment, early tee-off times and return transfers.

Belek is Antalya’s golf capital. The area has dozens of five-star hotels and championship-standard courses. Transfers here differ slightly from an ordinary holiday transfer — this article covers those differences.

Where is Belek, and how far is the airport?

Belek sits east of Antalya Airport, in the Serik district. Motorway access is good, so the journey time stays reasonable for the distance. Kadriye, İleribaşı and Boğazkent are on the same corridor.

For current distance, journey time and prices by vehicle, see our Antalya Airport → Belek transfer page.

If you’re travelling with golf equipment

A golf bag is not a standard suitcase: it’s long, heavy and needs to lie flat in the luggage compartment. If you don’t mention it when booking, the vehicle sent to collect you may not be able to take it.

Practical notes:

  • One golf bag takes roughly the space of two large suitcases.
  • For four golfers plus bags, ask for a Sprinter rather than a Vito.
  • If you’re bringing a trolley, mention that separately.
  • Writing “X passengers, Y golf bags” in the booking note is enough.

Early tee-offs and return transfers

Courses usually schedule the first tee-off very early. Keep those times in mind for hotel-to-course and course-to-airport journeys:

  • For an early morning transfer, confirm the day before.
  • Plan your pick-up so you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your departure — the coast road gets busy in summer.
  • If there’s a gap between hotel check-out and your transfer, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and head to the course; we’ll schedule the transfer around that.

Give your hotel’s exact name

Belek has many similarly named properties close together. “Belek” alone isn’t enough — write the full hotel name when booking. If your hotel isn’t in our list, keep typing in the search box and it will be found via Google; or select the area and put the hotel name in the address field.

Your driver will know your hotel’s reception entrance — most Belek properties sit at the end of a long service road that isn’t visible from the main road, which is where local knowledge pays off.

Transfers during your stay

If you’re staying in Belek and want to visit somewhere else during the day (the ancient city of Side, Manavgat Waterfall, Aspendos, central Antalya), our hourly hire option may suit you better: the car and driver stay with you all day, so you don’t have to find a new vehicle after every stop.

In short

Three things matter for a Belek transfer: declare your luggage volume accurately, give the exact hotel name, and work backwards from your departure flight. We’ll handle the rest.
